The Gerhard Winkler Musicarchive

The Gerhard Winkler musicarchive cultivates and tends to the composer's life's work. Different arrangements of the well-known compositions still played today are available and can be provided for the widest variety of instrumentation.

The sound archives contain old and new recordings from shellac records of the forties as well as radio tapes up to CD and DAT recordings of the 90s. Photos, newspaper clippings and personal memories document a lifetime and the 60 year long success story of the many compositions.

Today, Hans Andreas Winkler, the composer's son, takes care of the archive.
